Ancient Greece is reached from Next Island and is where the planet's mythology lives. It has its own map, its own teleporters named after real Greek cities, and creatures that run from a level 1 Cyclops up to a boss with 450,000 health. On this site it is its own planet, because its creatures and coordinates are separate, but its missions and factions are continuous with Next Island.

We hold 20 missions, 40 mapped places and 127 creatures for Ancient Greece.

Getting around

Twenty-four teleporters, almost all named after real places: Thebes, Sparta, Delphi, Knossos, Troy, Olympia, Mount Olympus, Rhodes, Syracuse, Pergamon, Ephesus, Larissa, Abdera, Dodona, Pella, Cylades, Cyzicus, Troezen, plus four caves: Alistratis, Melissani, Olimpis, Psychro, and Orpheus Cave, which is the one that also exists on the Next Island side.

Thebes is the practical hub. It has the market, and it is where the Islander mission line runs from.

The creature ladders

Ancient Greece is laid out as a set of ladders rather than a flat spread, and each family climbs a long way.

Cyclops is the longest. It starts as an approachable first target and ends well past most people's gear:

SpeciesLevelHealth
Cyclops1 to 620 to 240
Arges7 to 21330 to 1,000
Brontes20 to 541,000 to 3,000
Steropes36 to 781,800 to 4,400

Minotaur is the shorter one: Bullman at level 3, Achelous 3 to 8, Asterion 5 to 11, all running Aspirant to Chieftain.

Moloch is three single-maturity tiers, and this is the one place the source's naming is awkward: it calls them simply Apprentice (level 46, 5,400 HP), Journeyman (57, 6,500) and Master (80, 11,000). Those names only make sense beside the Moloch heading they sit under, so those three rows on the wiki are flagged for review rather than renamed by us.

Centaur runs 57 to 103 with 3,800 to 7,300 health, Aspirant to Chieftain. Enslaved Daudaormur has the widest span on either planet, level 18 to 114 and 1,380 to 11,300 health.

The bosses

Three, and they are a long way apart.

  • Zeus, level 227, 30,000 HP
  • Gorgon, level 552, 150,000 HP
  • Gorgon's Shade, level 1,726, 450,000 HP

Gorgon's Shade is the largest single creature in our whole dataset.

The Gorgon chain

The Gorgon content is the reason to be here past the sightseeing, and it is a proper chain rather than a single fight. Deliver Us from the Dark Queen is the gate, and three missions open behind it, all running from Knossos:

  • Gorgon's Shade Hunt, rewarding the Elixir of the Gorgon's Shade
  • Mining for the Gorgon, rewarding the Gem of the Gorgon's Shade
  • Crafting My Future, twelve crafting stages, rewarding the Book of the Gorgon's Shade

The pattern is deliberate: one hunting, one mining, one crafting, each producing a different piece. There is also a Gorgon wave event and a set of Gorgon armour and plate upgrades.

The Islander line

The other long thread is Becoming an Islander, run from Thebes: complete the Daily Islander Pursuit 137 times. The daily itself is a choice of eight tasks each day, spanning hunting, mining, crafting, fishing, sweating and harvesting, so it is a slow, deliberately varied grind rather than a kill count. The reward list is ten items, including a Giant L.A.R.A. Plushie and the Islander Bumpercar.

Two shorter ones worth knowing: Meeting the Gods, which leads into Look into the Distant Past, and To tame Asclarias at Orpheus' Cave, the tameable creature on this side of the portal.

What is missing from our data

Ancient Greece shares Next Island's gaps, and one of its own: Hippolyte, listed as an Ancient Greece instance Myrinian, has no level or health published, so it has no stats on the wiki. See the Next Island guide for the rest.
