About armor in Entropia Universe
This database lists armor sets in Entropia Universe with their protection values and sources. A full set consists of seven pieces: helmet, harness, arm guards, gloves, thigh guards, shin guards, and foot guards, and you can mix pieces from different sets when it makes sense.
Armor protects against specific damage types such as impact, penetration, cut, stab, burn, cold, acid, and electric. No set is best at everything: the right choice depends entirely on what the creature you hunt deals. Armor platings add extra protection on top of each piece, which lets you patch a set's weak spots instead of buying a new one.
Compare protection in the table, and remember that armor decays every time it absorbs a hit: the cheapest armor is the one that stops just enough.
Frequently asked questions
How do armor protection types work?
Every hit in Entropia Universe is made of one or more damage types, and each armor piece absorbs only the types it has protection values for. Matching protection to the creature's damage profile is what matters: protection against types the creature does not deal is wasted TT and markup.
What are armor platings?
Platings are add-ons attached to individual armor pieces that contribute extra protection, often in damage types the base set lacks. A well-chosen plating can turn a mid-tier set into the right tool for a specific hunt at a fraction of the cost of a new set.
Do I always need armor?
No. Armor decays every time it absorbs a hit, so overprotecting eats into your returns. For easy creatures many hunters skip armor entirely and rely on healing, evasion skills, and range instead.
What is the difference between Limited (L) and unlimited armor?
Limited armor cannot be repaired and breaks permanently once used up, while unlimited armor can be repaired indefinitely. Unlimited sets cost more upfront but are usually cheaper for armor you wear every day.
