By accessing and using Entropia Central, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Entropia Central is a community platform that provides information, statistics, and tools related to Entropia Universe. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice or liability.

The website is supported in part by third-party advertising. Advertising appears on the website only; the EC Mobile app and the EC Tracker desktop application contain no advertising. We reserve the right to change the format, placement, and volume of advertising at any time. Advertising and the data it involves are described in section 7 and in our Privacy Policy.

Users with an active premium subscription are not shown advertising on the website. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, advertising resumes.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the service or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or networks

• Encourage, incentivise, or pay others to click on advertisements
• Interfere with, obscure, or manipulate the display or measurement of advertising

Invalid advertising activity may result in immediate termination of your account, and may cause us loss for which we reserve the right to seek compensation.

5. Intellectual Property and Ownership

The Entropia Central platform, including its code, design, features, and functionality, is the proprietary property of its creator. While the platform and its systems are owned and operated by Entropia Central, no claim is made to trademark or copyright protection of the "Entropia Central" name itself.

Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant Entropia Central a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

6. Data Usage and Redistribution Restrictions

While Entropia Central provides publicly accessible data and statistics, the following restrictions apply to protect the integrity and sustainability of our service:

Prohibited Uses:

• Commercial Exploitation: You may not extract, scrape, aggregate, or systematically collect data from Entropia Central for commercial purposes, including but not limited to resale, redistribution, or incorporation into commercial products or services.

Permitted Uses:

Entropia Central is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MindArk PE AB or any of its subsidiaries. Entropia Universe and all related trademarks, logos, and game content are the property of MindArk PE AB.

All game-related information, statistics, and data provided on Entropia Central are for informational purposes only and are derived from publicly available game data.

Advertising

The website displays advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdSense. We do not select, endorse, review, or control the specific advertisements shown, the advertisers behind them, or the content of any website an advertisement links to.

Any dealings between you and an advertiser, including payments, delivery of goods or services, and any terms, warranties, or representations, are solely between you and that advertiser. We are not a party to those dealings and accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from them.

11. EC Tracker Desktop Application

Use of the EC Tracker desktop application is governed by these Terms of Service. By using EC Tracker, you acknowledge that:

• The application reads your local Entropia Universe chat log files
• Data collected may be transmitted to Entropia Central servers (unless Privacy Mode is enabled)
• You are responsible for configuring the application according to your preferences
• We are not liable for any issues arising from the use of EC Tracker

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• At our sole discretion for any operational reason

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We may also delete your account and any associated content.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
