Received on completing Mission Galactica Stage VIII, and opens Stage IX. Handed to Dread Castamir at Howling Mine Space Station. Taking this coin is the choice to carry on: the alternative at stage VIII is the Restoration Chip, Improved. Carries no trade terminal value. Coins cannot be looted and cannot go on auction, but they can be traded directly, and a player who has completed Mission Galactica at least once can use a bought coin to start partway up the chain.
