Armor platings attach to individual armor pieces and add protection on top of the base values. This database lists platings with the protection they contribute.
Platings are the budget answer to coverage gaps: instead of replacing a whole set for one hunt, add platings that cover the damage types your set lacks. One plating fits per armor piece, so a full set takes seven.
