A global is a line of text: a name, a number and a creature. The screenshot is the part worth keeping. You can attach one image or one short video to any global of your own, and it then travels with that record everywhere the record appears.
What you can attach media to
Globals credited to your own claimed avatar, and nothing else. The controls do not appear on anyone else's results, and the API refuses the same thing if you go around the site.
That includes HOFs and ATHs, which are ordinary global records carrying the game's designation. There is nothing separate to do for them.
Attaching one
Go to your own avatar page, or the globals list on your dashboard home. Any global of yours with no media yet shows an Add media button. Open it, upload an image or a video, and it attaches immediately.
The button disappears once something is attached, so a global carries one piece of media at a time. To swap it, remove what is there and add the new one. Removal is on the same card.
Formats and size limits are the site-wide ones: JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB for images, WebM up to 3 MB for video, listed in full under upload rules. Image metadata is stripped on upload, so a screenshot does not carry camera or location data with it.
Uploads are visible straight away and reviewed afterwards. A moderator can delete anything that does not belong.
Where it shows up
This is the point of it. An attached image is not filed away in your account, it is part of the public record:
| Where | How it appears |
|---|---|
| Your avatar profile, Globals tab | Inline under the global, click to open full size |
| Hall of Fame board | A camera or play icon on the entry, opening a lightbox |
| Homepage HOF section | The same icon on the entries shown there |
| Mobile app | On avatar profiles and the HOF screens |
None of that needs an account, so anyone you send the link to can see it, signed in or not.
Uploading is website-only. The mobile app displays media but cannot add it.
What it does not do
Attaching media changes nothing about the global itself. The value, the type, the HOF or ATH marking and any leaderboard points are read from the game's own message and are not affected by what you attach to it.
