The REST endpoints in the rest of this section return rows. Some questions cannot be answered from rows: what a weapon does with a particular amplifier, enhancers, rings and a pill in front of it depends on efficiency, buff caps and decay, and arithmetic over the published stats will not match what the site shows.

Those calculations, and the lookups around them, are published as tools. They run the same services the website runs, so a setup calculated by an agent matches the setup page exactly.

Everything here is anonymous and read-only.

MCP

The preferred way in, if your client supports it:

http
https://api.entropiacentral.com/mcp

Streamable HTTP, no authentication, no session to establish. Point Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-capable client at that URL and the tools appear with their schemas. The server card is published at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json.

The same tools over HTTP

For anything that can only fetch a URL:

http
GET /tools every tool, with its JSON Schema
GET /tools/{name}?argument=value    run one

Repeat a parameter or comma-separate it for a list. Pass JSON for an object parameter. A parameter the tool does not declare comes back listed under ignoredParameters rather than being silently dropped.

bash
curl "https://api.entropiacentral.com/tools/calculate_hunting_setup?weapon=ArMatrix%20LR-40&amplifier=A105&creatures=Atrox%20Mature"

Every tool answers in one shape:

json
{
  "tool": "calculate_hunting_setup",
  "columns": ["Creature", "Health", "Kills/Hour", "Time to Kill (s)", "Cost to Kill (PED)"],
  "rows": [{ "Creature": "Atrox Mature", "Health": 1100, "Kills/Hour": 42.1 }],
  "rowCount": 1,
  "note": "Setup: weapon ArMatrix LR-40, amp A105. That setup gives DPS ..."
}

Read the note. It says which items each name resolved to, what could not be placed in the setup, and which stats the wiki has no value for. A stat that is not recorded reads as zero in the data, and the note is the only thing that knows the difference.

GET /tools is the current list. It is generated from the server, so it is never out of date.

Rules

Compare by running the calculator twice. Once per setup, then compare the results. Assembling the figures yourself from wiki stats will disagree with the site.

We hold no prices and no markup. No tool can tell you what an item is worth today. Trade chat is the closest thing, and it is what people asked for, not what anything sold for.

Rate limit: 60 requests per minute, per caller, across the MCP server and the tool endpoints. Exceeding it returns 429 with a Retry-After header.

Attribution. Entropia Central is a fan-operated community platform, not affiliated with MindArk. Loot figures describe what players recorded, never what the game guarantees, and nothing here is financial advice.
