Cyrene opened in 2012 and spent years in beta, which shaped what it became. Players were in it while it was being built, and the developers took requests, so the planet ended up with an unusual amount of hand-written content: long story chains, four factions you can hold rank in, and spawns that react to what players do. It is the least grind-shaped planet in Entropia Universe, and the mission list shows it.

Our Cyrene coverage is the largest of any planet on the site: 368 missions, 1,012 mapped places and 469 creatures.

## The factions

Four powers share the planet, and most of the mission content hangs off one of them.

| Faction | What it is | Where you deal with it |
|---|---|---|
| **A.R.C.** | The human military presence, and the one with a formal rank ladder | A.R.C. Headquarters, and the faction terminals in [The Hub](https://www.entropiacentral.com/guides/planets/cyrene-the-hub) |
| **Turrelion** | The planet's advanced natives | Turrelion Docks, the Zyn border |
| **Imperium** | The hostile force you spend most kill missions on | Everywhere there is fighting |
| **Zyn** | A tribal culture with its own skill masters | Zyn Forest, Zyn'Tukano Border |

**A.R.C. rank is the spine of the planet.** You collect A.R.C. Faction Badges from daily missions, and at 200, 500 and 1,200 badges you unlock three tiers of faction vendor. Those vendors sell the Inaugurates, Patrol and Commander armour sets, the Ecotron weapon line, and the blueprints for all of them. Past rank 3 there is A.R.C. Prestige, a separate area gated on a keycard bought with mission tokens and badges, holding repeatable missions that exist nowhere else.

The badges are the reason to do dailies here rather than anywhere else: roughly eleven a day are available, and they are the only currency that opens those vendors.

## Where the missions are

**Daily and repeatable missions** are the bulk of it, spread across seven tables on the source site and covering hunting, mining, crafting, taming, sweating and turn-ins. The A.R.C. Faction dailies are the ones tied to badges. Most run on a 21 hour cooldown, which in practice means once per day at roughly the same time.

**The epic chains** are the long-form content and the reason people stay:

- **Zorra's HK Epic**, 14 stages, starting with 1,002 Imperium Soldiers and ending in a weapon
- **The Zyn'viathan Epic**, 10 stages
- **Tanhok Ambassador Epic**, 10 stages, opening with 10,000 Zeladoth kill points
- **Refurbished H.E.A.R.T. FAP**, 13 stages
- **Unstable Turrelion Assassinator**, which runs through The Hub and a 550,000 token collection

**Creature missions** follow the usual per-species pattern, and Cyrene has around 60 species with their own pages. Several carry an A.R.C. Faction Stage 1 daily of their own.

**Zyn'Tukano Psyche Master** is the sweating ladder, run through Aten'ten in ranks, each asking for progressively more donated sweat.

## Getting around

Cyrene has 36 teleporters. The names worth knowing early are **New Janus** (the main settlement, with apartments and estates), **A.R.C. Headquarters** (faction hub and the Prestige entrance), **Carnap's Landing**, and the two A.R.C. Immigration points at **Tanhok** and **Zyn**, which are how you reach those regions.

There is one place you cannot walk to: **The Hub**, which is chosen from the drop-down at the top of any teleporter and is its own world with its own rules. It has [its own page](https://www.entropiacentral.com/guides/planets/cyrene-the-hub).

## What is missing from our data

- **Damage-type percentage splits.** The sources record which damage types a creature deals, and we store that, but not how the damage divides between them. Left empty rather than split evenly, because an even split would render as a real figure.
- **Market prices.** The Entropedia backup we read carries a Markup column with no date on it. An undated price is worse than no price.
- **The Hub's geography.** Waypoints copied out of The Hub do not work, so its places have no coordinates and are not on the map.

## Credit

The Cyrene data came from two community sites, both still worth reading in full. **CyreneDream** is the current reference, maintained continuously since 2022, and is where the missions, teleporters, creature tables and blueprint lists came from. **Cyrene Secrets** covered the planet from 2013 to 2025 and is in places the only surviving record of what changed and when.
