# Cyrene, The Hub

> The arena world reached from any Cyrene teleporter, what it takes off you on the way in, the Pit and the Beast, and the three faction vendors that are the real reason to go.

The Hub is part of Cyrene but is not on it. You reach it from the drop-down at the top of any Cyrene teleporter, and it behaves as a separate world with its own economy. On this site it is [its own planet](https://www.entropiacentral.com/wiki/missions?planet=the-hub), the same way Hell and Hunt The THING are separate from RockTropia.

## It takes everything off you

Read this before you go, because it is not reversible in the moment.

**Entering strips your avatar completely.** Not just weapons: everything. A mindforce implant is pulled out of you. On leaving, the implant sometimes does not reappear in your inventory until you relog, which is alarming the first time and is not a loss.

Everything you use inside is bought inside, with currencies that only exist inside.

## Waypoints do not work

Coordinates copied from inside The Hub do not survive being pasted back into the game: there is a stray line break in what gets copied. This is why The Hub has locations on no map, here or anywhere else. You navigate it by following the tunnels, which is genuinely how the source describes it.

To find the A.R.C. vendors: from the main area take a side tunnel, look for the A.R.C. Vendor sign above the entrance, and in the next room pick one of the small teleporters. Only the tier you have the badges for will be selectable.

## The Pit

Two things spawn in the Pit.

- **Pit Turrelia Lurkers**, 150 HP, dropping shrapnel and Lime Green Tokens
- **The Beast**, 500 HP, spawning every two hours, dropping mostly shrapnel

The Beast can also drop the **Hub Only Coat**, the registered Proving Ground Coat of Arms, and that item is the point. It unlocks three repeatable missions that exist nowhere else: Kill em All: Proving Grounds, The Beast!, and Into the Fray.

The developers have said publicly that they wanted to do more with the coat, and that it ended up limited because they were not allowed to give non-Hub rewards for Hub activity. That is worth knowing before you chase it: the rewards stay inside.

## The A.R.C. faction ladder

This is what most people come for, and the badges are earned outside on Cyrene rather than here.

| Rank | Badges | What the vendor holds |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 200 | A.R.C. Inaugurates armour, Ecotron v.15e, and the armour blueprints for 70,000 shrapnel |
| 2 | 500 | A.R.C. Patrol armour, Ecotron v.26b, A.R.C. Lancer blueprint |
| 3 | 1,200 | A.R.C. Commander armour blueprints, Ecotron v.42e |

Reaching each rank also completes a mission of its own. Zorra handles the unlimited versions of the weapons: bring the limited weapon cube and she trades it.

Alongside the faction terminals there are clothing and weapon vendors trading in **Hub Reward Tokens**, and a PvP vendor trading **Daily PvP Mission Tokens** for clothing and skill pills. Lime Green Tokens come from the Proving Grounds and buy the Coat of the Proving Ground.

## Arenas

The Hub's arenas are PvP with a buy-in, historically running from a 50 PEC arena up to 5 PED and higher, plus the Proving Grounds and a 1v1 arena. Pets are not allowed in The Hub.

We hold no arena data. The arenas have gone through repeated rounds of being broken and fixed over the years, and the only record of their current state is the update notes.

## What is missing from our data

The Hub has **no locations at all** on this site, and that gap is the source's rather than an oversight. Its places cannot be given coordinates: the vendor list the sources publish carries the note that Hub waypoints do not work where every other page carries a position. We would rather show no map than a map of invented pins.

What we do hold is six missions, the three faction ranks and the three the Hub Coat unlocks. The A.R.C. rank missions are also reachable from the Cyrene mission list, because the badges that complete them are earned out on the planet.
