One app serves both Android and iOS, built from a single codebase and released to both stores together under the same version number.

Store releases are not instant. Once a version is submitted it goes through each store's review before it reaches you, so the date below is the date it was released rather than the date it appeared on your device. Updates also depend on your own automatic update settings.

## 1.2.0

**Events and challenges.** The events and challenges system arrived on mobile: browsing events, following leaderboards, and tracking challenge progress from your phone.

**Sign in with Google and Apple.** Both providers are now supported. Because neither knows your Entropia Universe avatar name, you are asked for it once after signing in, and it is matched to your avatar the same way registration does. See [creating an account](https://www.entropiacentral.com/documentation/account/creating-an-account).

**Production API by default.** Release builds now target the production API without needing to be configured, which removes a class of "the app shows nothing" reports caused by builds pointing somewhere else.

## 1.1.0

Store readiness work ahead of publication. No user-facing features.

## 1.0.0

First release. The mobile companion covers the wiki, avatar profiles, leaderboards, live feeds and notifications, reading from the same data as the website.

The app is read-heavy by design. It is a companion for looking things up and following activity, not a second copy of the website, and features like wiki editing, running events and the dashboard remain on the web.

## What the app does not collect

No advertising identifier, no location, no contacts, photos, camera or microphone. There are no third-party SDKs or advertising frameworks in the app, so nothing in it talks to anywhere except our own servers. The detail is in [your data and privacy](https://www.entropiacentral.com/documentation/account/your-data-and-privacy#what-the-mobile-app-sends).
