"Hall of Fame" means two different things on this site, and they are unrelated. Almost every question about the HOF page comes from mixing them up, so it is worth separating them before anything else.

## The two meanings

**The game's HOF designation.** Entropia Universe decides that a particular global is a Hall of Fame event and says so in the message it broadcasts. We read that designation straight from the message and mark the record accordingly. It is the game's judgement, not ours, and it belongs to that one global forever.

**Our Hall of Fame page.** A board showing the **highest value globals of the last 24 hours**, split by profession. It is a rolling snapshot of recent activity, and it has nothing to do with the game's HOF designation. An entry drops off simply because it is more than a day old.

So a global can carry the game's HOF marking and never appear on our Hall of Fame page, if it was not among the highest-value ones that day. And a global can top our page without being a HOF in the game's eyes.

## The Hall of Fame page

The board covers hunting, mining, space mining, construction and PvP sprees, showing the top entries in each over the past 24 hours.

There is an option to exclude team globals, which affects hunting and space mining, the two professions where team play is common. With teams included the board tends to be dominated by large teams; excluding them shows individual results.

The board is cached for a few minutes, so a very recent global may take a moment to appear.

## ATH

An **All-Time High** is also the game's designation, read from the message the same way. It marks the largest recorded result of its kind and is considerably rarer than a HOF.

ATH counts are kept per avatar, per team and per land area, so a land area page shows how many all-time highs have come out of it.

## Why our numbers might differ from someone else's

HOF and ATH markings come from the message text, so we agree with the game exactly. Where sites differ is **coverage**, not classification: we can only mark globals that somebody tracked. A site with different tracking coverage sees a different subset of the same events.

That is also why a HOF you remember may not be here at all. See [why a global might be missing](https://www.entropiacentral.com/documentation/globals/how-globals-are-tracked#why-a-global-might-be-missing).

## Trophies

Trophies are separate from all of the above. They are awarded by **community events and challenges**, not by the game and not by global values.

You earn one by placing in an event or completing a challenge. Trophies appear on your avatar profile, and for team events they go to every registered member of the winning team rather than only whoever created it, which is why an incomplete roster costs the people missing from it.

Trophies for an avatar are public, so anyone can see what an avatar has won without signing in.
